INLINE SKATING (January 20 – 31, 2025)

As part of our Elementary Physical Education Program at Clearbrook Elementary, we try to expose the students to many different physical activities. This year we have decided to enrich our students by providing them the opportunity to learn how to inline skate (roller blade).

We are planning to have the Stardust Kids on Wheels Program come to Clearbrook Elementary from January 20th – 31st. Your child will receive at least 4 sessions of skating during this time. The skating will take place in our school gym. All skates will be provided to the students. Helmets are required and will also be available, however if your child has a helmet of their own (a bike helmet is o.k.), they are encouraged to bring it and use it during this time. If your child already has knee and elbow pads they are welcome to bring them and use them during their inline skate time. It is not expected that you go out and buy any.

Students should be wearing comfortable clothing to school on their skating days. No dresses or skirts please.

For this activity, a fee will be charged to recover expenses for the instructor and the use of the equipment.

We are asking for a contribution of $9.00 to cover the rest of this cost.

All students are required to participate in this activity unless there is a medical reason for them not to.
