Save the Date! On Friday, November 22^nd Clearbrook is holding a Free Family Movie Night in our school gym.  Gym doors will open at 5:30 pm.  The movie will begin at 6:00 pm.  We will be watching Despicable Me 4!  There will be a cash concession selling snacks and drinks.  Bring a cozy blanket to sit on the floor and watch the movie.  Please note children must be with an adult.  Adults MUST stay and supervise their child(ren) during the movie.    

Save the Date! From November 18^th-22^nd we are collecting non-perishable items and monetary donations for the Archway Food Bank.  Most needed items include: pasta & sauce, diapers (size 5/6), baby food, rice, soup, peanut butter, jam, cooking oil, cereal, tea, coffee and personal hygiene products.  Our goal is to feed 100 families!  Online donations can be made through schoolcashonline.com starting November 18^th.

Mayor Ross Siemens is inviting Abbotsford elementary children in grades K-5 to take part in a contest to design the annual Christmas card.

Every year Mayor and Council send out many electronic Christmas cards across the city and province. Adding children’s artwork to the card adds an extra element of cheer. Elementary students from across the city are encouraged to create and submit a festive Christmas drawing that could be selected for the cover of the Mayor’s official 2024 Christmas card.

Update on Avian Influenza (H5)

A presumptive case of avian influenza has been reported in the Fraser Health region. While this may be concerning, please rest assured that student and staff safety remains our top priority. There are no confirmed cases within our district schools. Fraser Health, BC’s Chief Veterinarian, and the Ministry of Health are monitoring the situation closely and confirm no known exposure in schools.

Clearbrook's Christmas Market returns! The Christmas Market is a festive PAC fundraiser and an opportunity for all students to "shop" for items to gift their families for Christmas. All items at the market are $1 each. 

PAC are once again asking families to help make this year's Christmas Market a success by donating new or gently used toys, games, books, housewares, decor pieces, crafts, gadgets - things for Dads - and fashion accessory items for gifts to kids or adults - or a suggested $5 donation we can use to purchase items with.
