Class Lists & Parent Requests

At the end of June teaching staff will be working together to create draft class lists for September.  We spend a lot of time discussing and carefully considering student placements.  Looking at a balance of academic needs, emotional needs, social dynamics, friendships, the number of boys and girls etc. are all taken into consideration.  Your child’s current classroom teacher has invaluable insights to your child’s specific academic and social-emotional needs.  Parent requests are also considered.  The office will accept written requests for classroom placement for the coming school year by Friday, June 20^th.  Please email requests to clearbrook@abbyschools.ca.   Requests are for academic and/or social-emotional reasons only. Please do not include other students’ names in your request.  All requests will be considered but not guaranteed.
